Yesterday (Sun 19th Feb) saw the 76th BAFTA Awards honour the top talent in the film industry, as celebrities graced the red carpet – perfectly timed to coincide with London Fashion Week. From matching hairstyles and dresses to monochrome looks, it was a night of victory for Austin Butler and other talents.
Florence Pugh’s look was a surely a standout as she stunned in an eye-catching orange Harris Reed dress with a long train but then going a step further to style her blonde hair in a spike bun to match her the stunning tulle dress.
Two of the distinguished visitors at tonight’s BAFTAs were the Prince and Princess of Wales. With a flowing white one-shoulder dress by one of her favourite designers, Alexander McQueen, Kate went for a monochrome ensemble for the evening. Along with monochromatic, there was a sci-fi atmosphere. Sheila Atim wore a silver “foil” suit with matching gloves that gave the impression that it was from another planet, while Anya Taylor-Joy wore a futuristic hooded minidress.
Along with monochromatic, there was a sci-fi atmosphere. Sheila Atim wore a silver “foil” PRADA suit with matching gloves – together with the exquisite Chopard gems, the train, decorations, and opera gloves add to the elegance of this futuristic ensemble. Anya Taylor-Joy’s outfit on the other hand was a futuristic couture design by French fashion house Schiaparelli. The velvet, structural bandeau minidress was covered in a matching floor-length cap.
