Texworld Evolution Paris | The Vision Of Future Synergies

Fashion’s influences of the society-to-be. For Texworld Evolution Paris, the artist is the center of creation, he crystallizes the doubts and hopes of our civilizations. We can not agree more. Texworld Evolution Paris proposes an overall vision of the world of tomorrow, through textiles and materials focused on the best craftsmanship. Let’s discover them.

After three years of crisis, the alleys of Texworld and Apparel Sourcing Paris have finally returned to a level of attendance and activity comparable to the great editions of Texworld Evolution Paris. Texworld Evolution Paris received nearly 8,000 visitors from 115 countries countries during its February 2023 edition, a sign of the resumption of business between the European fashion industries and the major sourcing countries.

“The success of this edition shows our ability to adapt, underlines Frédéric Bougeard, President of Messe Frankfurt France. It also shows that our fairs are open international sourcing platforms. And they will remain so. The offer must stay organised according to the expectations of buyers, who come here to find quality industrial know-how to produce their collections in the best conditions and at the best price. Our objective is to always make this offer accessible and visible”, he concludes.

Texworld Evolution Paris has decided to move all its summer editions to Paris intra-muros: From 3 to 5 July, Apparel Sourcing Paris, Avantex Paris, and Texworld Paris as well as the Leatherworld offer will be held at Porte de Versailles Exhibition Centre. Nearly 1,300 exhibitors are expected, with an increased participation of Chinese, Indian, Turkish, Korean, Vietnamese, Ghanaian and Ethiopian manufacturers.

“This configuration will also offer two days in common with the dates of the International Lingerie trade show & Interfilière organised by WSN (Who’Next), the professional platforms for the sourcing of materials and accessories for the lingerie, sportswear and swimwear markets, which will be held from 2 to 4 July. This strategic choice was made in response to strong demand from buyers, who want to be able to take advantage of an extended sourcing platform at this time of year, just minutes from Paris. This will be an opportunity for us to celebrate our 25th anniversary in a new arrangement, with more services, which will bring emulation to the market”, emphasises Frédéric Bougeard.

TRENDS SPRING SUMMER 2024

Louis Gérin & Gregory Lamaud, Texworld Art Directors, delighted us once again with their vision of the trends that we will be able to enjoy during the next Spring Summer 2024. Organic materials, recycled alternatives, upcycling methods stand out in this respect. “There is a promise of caress, even if the curve is uncertain. It is human nature wanting to embrace everything when it knows how to be discreet”.

Craftsmanship Heroes: One of the most beautiful creations we found was the textiles from Eco Royal Hantex LLP, from India.

Waste leaders: Interesting was the textiles made with recycled polyester by Özer Örme Tekstil Türkiye. Juno Impex also launched a metallic textile made from 95% recycled polyester.

Organic lovers: The trend organic was represented by Kottex Industries India, with their new textiles made from 100% organic linen. Jinghua Textile Group also launched some 100% linen proposals. Kottex Industries, with their 77% organic linen and 23% organic cotton textiles, also catched our attention; as well as Dörtrenk Textiles Türkiye, with their 100% Tencel textiles.

We also liked some textiles launched by Robb Textile, from China, made out from Lenzing Ecovero and Polyester; and Casa Fashion Textile China, 55% recycled polyester and 45% polyester.
